About Principal
Dr.P A Fathima.
M. Sc, M. Phil, Ph. D
Dr.P A Fathima.M.Phil, Ph.D is the first principal of ABR College of Arts, Science
and Commerce. She is the Former Director, Centre of Excellence for Disability Studies (A
Unit under LBS Centre for Science and Technology), Poojappura, Thiruvananthapuram. Her Observation skills, experience and
ability to execute plans were helpful in higher education in the society which now
demands dynamic vision and planning. Her academic profile includes post-graduation in
Botany and Ph.D from Mahatma Gandhi University. She has published her research
papers in both international and national journals. She has over 18 years of teaching
experience at PG level and also more than 10 years of administrative experience.Dr.P A
Fathima has held/holding various academic memberships at national and state level
such as Member, National Council of teacher Education (NCTE) 2015-16, Member Peer
Team-National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), Life member of Society
for Bio-Technologist India (SBTI), Syndicate member of Mahatma Gandhi University,
research guide etc.

My aim is to transform this nascent institution into a hub of knowledge catering to the educational, physical, emotional and intellectual capabilities of students,fine tune and nurture their latent skills and blossom them into valuable members of society, contributing to themselves and to the society at large in a spirit of service,commitment and sympathy to the marginalized sections of society.
